Common Frog Rana temporaria

Common Toad Bufo bufo

Natterjack Toad Epidalea calamita (formerly Bufo calamita)

The native Pool Frog (Pelophylax lessonae formerly Rana lessonae) became extinct in the wild in the mid-1990s. It has since been reintroduced to several sites in the UK, through a project managed by Natural England and the Herpetological Conservation Trust.

Caudata (tailed amphibians)

Smooth Newt Lissotriton vulgaris (formerly Triturus vulgaris)

Palmate Newt Lissotriton helveticus (formerly Triturus helveticus)

Great Crested Newt Triturus cristatus
