February 2008

Saturday 2nd February: Volunteer session at HNR

To celebrate National Bird Box Making Week we will be making and erecting bird, bat and owl boxes.

Sunday 24th February: Volunteer session at HNR

Scrub clearance.  This will be the last scrub clearance session until October due to the start of the nesting season.

March 2008

Saturday 8th March: Volunteer session at HNR

Training day on Great Crested Newts at the Froglife office.

March-dates dependent on weather: Volunteer sessions 

Pond monitoring in the evenings and further Great Crested Newt training.  Dates TBC.

Events at the reserve cost £2.50 for adults and £1 for children.  Please book in advance.  Many of the events are weather-dependent and might be postponed if things look bad.  Some events may be unsuitable for those with reduced mobility, please check first.  Children under 14 attending events must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.  If you are unsure or have any questions simply get in touch.
