Lizards Frequently asked questions about lizards:
What species of lizard have I seen? You are only likely to see Common Lizards or Slow Worms in your garden as Sand Lizards are very rare and are found only in certain areas. Slow Worms are a type of leg-less lizard not a snake. If what you have seen doesn't match any of the native descriptions it may be an exotic species, in which case contact the RSPCA.
If your question has not been answered or you require more information please contact the Wildlife Information Service on 01733 558960 or info@froglife.org
