Lizards

Frequently asked questions about lizards:

How do I encourage lizards into my garden?

Lizards, like all reptiles, need places for basking in the sun, foraging for food and sheltering and hibernating in.  They are often found basking on and sheltering in stone piles or walls, or in short vegetation.  They may forage near by in longer vegetation or wood piles.  A variety of habitats and vegetation heights is the key but they will only colonise your garden if they are already in the area and they can access it.
