A lizard habitat is threatened, what can be done? Lizards, like all native reptiles, have a degree of legal protection so if they are discovered on a site, steps much be taken the developers/planners to ensure individuals will not be killed or injured. Make sure your records are known and contact you local Wildlife Trust or Amphibian and Reptiles Group (ARG) for historic species records. Always make your objections known as soon as possible.
