Epilogue: Froglife in Cold Blood

At the end of Life in Cold Blood, Sir David Attenborough says the lines: "At a time when we ourselves are becoming increasingly concerned about the way in which we get our energy from the environment, and the wasteful way in which we use it, maybe there are things that we can learn from Life In Cold Blood."

Froglife agrees fully and would like to thank the BBC for helping raise awareness and an appreciation of amphibians and reptiles – unique, bizarre and fascinating players in the UK's natural history.

However, these animals need your help. Many of these species are disappearing from Britain's varied landscapes as a result of disappearing habitat, disease and cruelty. Action, interest and involvement from the public will make a difference, and is vital to help us tackle what are serious and concerning declines.
