Ranavirus in the UK is not just restricted to frogs, it can also occur in
toads and in all three newt species.
This strain should not affect fish although ranaviruses have
been linked to fish deaths. If you have experienced frog and
fish deaths at the same time then please
get in touch
as this could be significant.
There is no evidence ranavirus can infect people.
