Dragon Finder

Alexandra Road Park

On a lovely sunny Thursday afternoon, the London team set up their marquee at Alexandra Road Park in Camden, with an army of frogs for the children to paint and a interactive adventure quiz trail that imitated how you survey for amphibians and reptiles. The team were joined at the event by another charity, EcoActive, and a very talented local face-painter.

Figure 1: A few of the kids painting frogs and being painted during the day of activities!

It was a very successful day, with many frogs being painted in likeness to our native species (plus a few that looked a tad more tropical!) Also, the trail was a great success, with many of the participants returning to our team with full marks and a good grasp of amphibian and reptile identification.
