Project Summary – The past 4.5 years

The London Dragon Finder project has been working in London for the past four and a half years, delivering activities and sessions across 32 London Boroughs.

  • The project has delivered 65Dragon Days’ engaging with over 12,100 people
  • The team have have created, restored or improved 73 wildlife habitats across London

  • The team have held 55 volunteer habitat management days involving 464 volunteers across London
  • We have held 41 successful Wildlife Workshops with 493 gardeners attending, taking with them lots of new tips and knowledge to attract more wildlife into their allotments!

  • We’ve held 16 Swimming with Dragons sessions, with over 543 children attending, having fun and learning more about amphibian and reptile conservation!
  • We have installed 3 carved Memory Benches at sites 2013-09-15-12-30-54we’ve improved for wildlife, and have received over 50 wildlife memories from people across London
  • To mark our 4.5 year achievement we held a project conference at ZSL, in partnership with the Garden Wildlife Heath project
