Froglife Peterborough

Based in Peterborough, Froglife coordinate a number of events as part of our varied projects in the area. Many of these take place at Hampton Nature Reserve, our European stronghold for Great Crested Newts.

Upcoming events in Peterborough.

Hunt for the Grizzled Skipper @ Hampton Nature Reserve Wednesday 14th May.  10.30am. 
Join Sharon Hearle from Butterfly Conservation Trust as we search for this locally rare butterfly.

Wet and Wild Walk - Hampton Wildlife Watch. Saturday May 17th  10am - Midday. 
Taster session - Children between 8 -12 years are invited to bring an adult to meet some of the creepy crawlies living in the ponds and create a clay bug to take home!  

Peterborough Green Festival 
Saturday May 24th 2008 - all day. P'boro City Centre
Come and meet Froglife and pick up ideas for your garden as part of the fun packed Green Festival

Logs for Frogs @ Hampton Nature Reserve
Friday 30th May 2-4pm.
Gather ideas and make something to take home to help transform your garden into a haven for all sorts of wildlife.  Entry includes a Froglife cotton bag full of information on wildlife gardening.

Hotel Hampton - Hampton Wildlife Watch
Saturday 28th June 10am – Midday .
Spend the day in Hotel Hampton – and make your own room!  Come and make dens on Hampton Nature Reserve, as well as a hotel for bugs to take home for your garden!

There will be more Wildlife Watch sessions at Hampton Nature Reserve throughout the year, as well as a series of walks and events.
