Ponds for Life

Where better to explore approaches to environmental education than at Hampton Nature Reserve, Europe's biggest Great Crested Newt colony.

Starting in April 2008, Froglife's Ponds for Life Project is giving people in the Peterborough area a chance to visit and learn more about this fantastic site.  As well as a season of events and work with schools and youth groups, the project will also see the start of a Woodland Classroom on-site. In addition Ponds for Life will also work with Froglife Corporate Sponsors, offering team-building days among a host of other exciting activities.
