The Robo Frog Grand Finale was held on Saturday 23rd May. The competition
was a celebration of science, engineering and amphibian-appreciation! Frogs
are a feat of evolution – they inspire awe and wonder in wildlife-lovers,
scientists and engineers alike through their charismatic jumps. Froglife and Peterborough Library Service invited families and teams of young people to design and make a jumping frog using recycled materials. Take a look at some of the photos of the day to see how the Robo Frogs got on...
The Winners There were some great entries and lots of hard work put in by everyone who created fabulous Robo Frogs. Samuel, Kane, Libby and Olivia all received good bags for their hard work. There were two levels of entry and three prizes in each category: Family Challenge:

The Judges and the Prizes Froglife would like to thank Dr Jo Guy from the Ministry of Defence (who also coordinates www.elygreen.org) and Dr Peter Brotherton from Natural England for judging the competition. Adam Hart-Davis and Lauren Child generously gave prizes for the winners and we would like to thank them and everyone involved for helping to make this a fun, creative and educational experience.
