Toads on Roads in Google Earth

New for 2009 - view all of the UK's 700 amphibian crossing points using Google Earth

Highslide JSNew for 2009 - You can now view interactive maps of all of the UK's 700 amphibian crossings by using Google Earth.

Find out where your nearest crossing is, and details such as whether the site is active and how many toads were lifted the previous year.

How to get started:

  • If you already have Google Earth it's simple. Just download our latest .kmz file by clicking here. You will be able to download the file through our file-sharing site, 4shared

If you have any problems please email us: info@froglife.org

Google Earth should automatically recognise the file (after choosing 'Save' or 'Open'). If the file is saved it should display the interactive map once double-clicked.

  • If you do not have Google Earth you can download it for free from Google. For more information visit: Google Earth

 Keep us informed:

Froglife's Toads on Roads map is dependent on your feedback. If you have more recent information on any of our registered sites we would like to hear from you so that we can keep our records up to date. Please send your update to info@froglife.org or contact us.
