What we do

Volunteering on Green Pathways

Do teenagers scare you? Are you afraid of saws? Does the thought of holding a newt fill you with revulsion? If so, Green Pathways is probably not the volunteering opportunity you were looking for!

However, if you love being outdoors, enjoy inspiring young people and thrive on making a practical difference to gardens or other habitats, Green Pathways is the perfect project for you.

We are currently looking for hardy volunteers to help with all aspects of the project from fundraising to promotion but especially to work alongside the young people. Training in working with vulnerable teenagers will be provided along with appropriate criminal records checks, and other training needs will be discussed with individual volunteers and provided if possible.

  • youth worker assistants volunteers – assisting the project officer in working outdoors with groups of teenagers.
  • project assistant volunteer – a more involved role working closely with the project officer on all aspects of Green Pathways in Peterborough including planning, delivering and preparing for groups.
