Learning Officer (sessional) Scottish Green Pathways
Hours: 14 hours per week (days will be flexible; Tuesday and Wednesdays preferred. Working hours may include after school and Saturday sessions)
Duration: 12- month Fixed term contract, with possible extensions
Salary: £22,500 per annum pro rata for 14 hours per week; (actual salary £9,000 per annum)
Scottish Green Pathways involves developing and delivering nature conservation educational sessions working with vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Although the main focus of the project is working with young people aged 8-18 (24 if they have a learning disability), the project also works with other disadvantaged and vulnerable groups including people living with dementia. Most sessions will be in Glasgow with occasional work in other areas of Scotland.

Project Manager: Discovering Dewponds
Hours: Full time
Duration: Fixed term contract to 15 October 2024
Salary: £28 – 31,000 per annum
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the Discovering Dewponds project. The project involves both restoring dewponds and raising awareness amongst local communities of the importance of dewponds to wildlife, particularly amphibians.

Sessional Worker: Coalface to Wildspace
Hours: 21 hours per week
Duration: One year contract
Salary: £24,000 per annum pro rata for 3 days per week
The sessional worker will be responsible for planning and delivering different elements of the Coalface to Wildspace Midlands project. The project involves creating and restoring habitats in an urban area, engaging disadvantaged communities with their local heritage and ecology and raising awareness amongst local communities of amphibians and reptiles.

Trainee Reserve Warden: Transforming Lives Project
(X6 positions available)
Hours: 21 hours per week (working days; Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Working hours will include evening & Saturday sessions)
Duration: 12- month Fixed term contract (May 2023 – May 2024)
Salary: £20,000 per annum pro rata for 21 hours per week; (actual salary £12,000 per annum)
A Transforming Lives Traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to encourage ethnically diverse and mixed heritage individuals that are new to conservation into the sector or have faced difficulties in the sector. We are recruiting six trainees for a one-year period, these trainees will reflect the diversity of the communities living, studying and working in Peterborough. The training is primarily all year round and will take place at our managed reserves: Hampton, Boardwalks & Thorpe Meadows and Eye Green. The trainees will be supported by our Reserve Warden Trainer on all elements of reserve management training.
