Visit the Hampton Nature Reserve on 11th August for a chance to experience a variety of outdoor activites. You will have the opportunity to take part in pond dipping, a guided walk of the reserve, butterfly surveys, bird surveys and experience practical habitat management.
Each activity will start at 10 am, 12 pm or 2 pm at the main gate which is on Nature’s Way, just opposite the turn off for West Lake Avenue. Car parking is limited so we are encouraging people to walk or cycle rather than bring a car.
Please book a place by contacting Ross Edgar (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let us know your time of arrival.
The event is suitable for people of all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The terrain is uneven so please ensure you wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing. If you have wellies these will be suitable for pond dipping.
Please note there are no refreshments on the reserve so you will need to bring your own food and drink.
