DESCRIPTION:We’re all about enjoying the outdoors\, getting active and having fun in a relaxed setting. We’re always open for new members so why not join us! \n\nMondays 14.00-16.00 in Mells\nTuesdays 11.00-13.00 in Frome\nWednesdays 14.00-16.00 in Frome\n\n(Frome sessions are usually at our dementia friendly allotment plot at Welshmill but call ahead as we sometimes go elsewhere!) \n*Our sessions are running every week. We have spaces available\, give us a call to sign up or for any queries. From digging ponds\, building wildlife homes and gardening\, to creating art & seasonal crafts\, writing poems and sharing stories\, always finishing off with the all important tea and biscuits. \nOur activities are guided by peoples’ preferences and abilities as well as the weather and the season. The sessions are free to attend and we can provide free transport. SUMMARY:Coalface to Wildspace: Ayrshire\, South Lanarkshire & the Lothians Walk and Talk
DESCRIPTION:Join Froglife and the New Cumnock Development Trust on Tuesday the 29th of September from 12:30pm-2:30pm at Trotters for an informal introduction to the new project\, hear about the workshops that are available to help create the local Neighbourhood Wildlife Corridor and art opportunities from 12:30pm-1:20pm. From 1:20pm to 2:30pm we’ll have a short stroll from Trotters around Knockshinnoch Lagoons and back to talk about some of the habitat improvements for amphibians and reptiles that we’ll be delivering. This event is part of the Ayrshire Climate Hub’s Climate Week Activities. \nCoalface to Wildspace: Ayrshire\, South Lanarkshire & the Lothians is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players\, we are able to create and restore 87 ponds and create more than 70 additional habitat interventions with local communities and landowners\, transforming habitats and lives across Ayrshire\, South Lanarkshire & the Lothians.
