We are asking you to check that we have the correct details for the Patrollers at each of the sites that you manage. You can also check your own details – please see Help for Patrollers.
On the Sites page you can see the list of Sites that you help to coordinate. Please check that we have the correct persons listed as Patrollers for each site.
-
- Click on the Site Name and then on the People tab to see the people who Patrol at the site.
- Use the Edit Person button to check the contact details for a person and correct them if necessary.
- Use the Edit Association button to –
- End a person’s association with a site if they no longer patrol there – insert an end date
- There is a button on the People list to Add a Patroller
- A list is shown of people who already patrol at other sites that you manage – there is a button to Add This Person to the Site – use this button where someone who already patrols at one site now starts to patrol at another site.
- Use the Create a New Patroller button if you need to add someone entirely new and provide their contact details. An email address is needed for them to register on the site.
- PLEASE NOTE: If sending volunteer forms to us is still your preferred method of registering your volunteers, then this is absolutely fine. We will eventually phase this out, but not until everyone has gotten to grips with the new system.
- When you are happy that you have the correct details for a Patroller then use the button on Edit Person to invite them to register so that they can check their own details. Where members of a family share the same email address, please invite the primary contact to register. Please see the notes about Family Groups and Adding a Child Patroller
- There will be some cases where a person also patrols at a site that you don’t manage and the manager of that site may already have invited the patroller to register. GDPR restricts the information that we can share with Managers.
