The Yorkshire T.O.A.D team will be offering free training to people interested in recognising and surveying for native amphibians and reptiles in their local area.
Sessions will last for 1 – 2 hours, and may include a practical session such as creating a hibernaculum after the training depending the the site. The training will also help you know how to report any sightings of reptiles and amphibians as well as how to help them, many of our native species are endangered or in decline.
Sessions will be taking place regularly until March 2022 so check back for more dates being added to the diary.
You can email megan.johnson@froglife.org to express your interest, please let us know where you are in Yorkshire and how many people in your group will be attending and we could arrange a session to come to you.
