In December 2018 the London T.O.A.D team worked with 57 students across 2 YR3 classes at Rosedale Primary School, Hillingdon. This was one of the first ‘T.O.A.D Tails’ delivered in the project. Over 4 sessions the students learnt lots about reptiles and amphibians – especially toads! They learnt to identify our native reptiles and amphibians, and to tell the difference between a frog and toad. We taught them about the things that are threatening toads in the UK and how toad patrols can help. The students loved experiencing life as a toad crossing a busy road in our virtual reality experience. All the children learnt how to move like a toad and each class put on a performance of Froglife’s T.O.A.D Tails play to the rest of their year group.
