In March 2019, the London T.O.A.D team visited the Green Western Allotments in Ealing. By the end of the session, they were more confident in reptile and amphibian identification. The attendees were very enthusiastic about what they could do to make their allotment plots suitable for wildlife and got the chance to discuss their ideas with the team. The site itself has some brilliant ponds with new ones created earlier in the year. Two had frogspawn and one of the bathtub ponds had resident smooth newts! Overall, it was a very positive session and very fruitful for amphibian conservation.
