Wildlife Workshop @ Sunnyside Community Gardens, Islington

In March 2019, the London T.O.A.D team visited Sunnyside Community Gardens in Islington. The greenspace was teaming with wildlife, from toads in compost heaps to common frogs and spawn in an incredible pond. The attendees were keen to improve their wildlife areas and came to the session ready with many ideas for more ponds and terrestrial refuge sites. The T.O.A.D team discussed these ideas and also taught attendees about reptile/amphibian identification, invasive species and amphibian disease.
