As part of the Yorkshire T.O.A.D Project we will run 50 Wildlife Gardening Workshops and engage with 750 people. Most of these will be run online with some practical sessions as well.
Online via Zoom
Our Zoom Workshops are aimed at allotment holders, or people with just a window box – as well as everyone in between! We regularly add more sessions to the calendar, you can register for a suitable session here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/froglife-33039628713
Some of the feedback we have received from online Workshops so far:
“Excellent, clearly presented content. Very informative but not too in depth for a quick online session. Just right! Thank you! Looking forward to making a hibenacula which I’d never heard of”
“Interesting talk, learnt a lot of new information about toads”
“Really enjoyed it, well put together, well presented and informative”
“Sara covered lots of info in an engaging way with good illustrations. I learned a lot”
Practical Sessions on Allotments
If you have your own allotment and would like to hold a practical Workshop, please send Megan an email to arrange a suitable date and time, megan.johnson@froglife.org. Ideally we would like 15 plot holders in attendance at a practical Workshop. Workshop content can be discussed in advance then tailored to the site and the interests of the participants involved.

Pop-up Wildlife Garden Workshops
Yorkshire T.O.A.D will be visiting several Garden Centres across the region to discuss all things involving planting for wildlife! We will be able to answer your questions about creating a fantastic wildlife pond, plants to attract pollinators and pest control methods that are effective but not harmful.
We will be arranging locations and dates very soon so check back here or follow us on Facebook @FroglifeYorkshire to be notified when we organise an event!
