Froglife London

Froglife has led a number of successful London projects in recent years, all of which gained national recognition for their community-led focus.   

Past projects include: a Pond Doctor service for schools, work with the Youth Offending Service on allotment regeneration and practical conservation projects with environmentally excluded community groups.

Dragon Finder
This project, currently in development, will work across all London boroughs, engaging communities, collecting data and raising awareness.


Great Crested Newts Revisited
Froglife is surveying for great crested newts at various sites around London and aims to restore habitats for this important species.  

London Living Water Project
This ground-breaking project creating and restoring prime wildlife habitats, with the help of networks of local volunteers, in gardens and parks throughout the City has recently come to end.  

Standing Water Habitat Action Plans (SWHAPs)
Froglife leads a partnership of wildlife organisations in ensuring that actions are put in place to save this disappearing habitat in Greater London.
