In summer, fully formed toadlets are leaving the ponds. They may spend much of summer on land, feeding on insects and other food at night time. In August 2019, the London T.O.A.D team ran a mapestry workshop in Islington for the summer panel of the toad tapestry. Lots of families attended the session at Islington Ecology Park (picture; below). They listened to a talk by one of the London T.O.A.D team about amphibians and reptiles, then everyone got crafting and created lots of materials (picture; right).
