In July 2019 the London T.O.A.D team attended the ‘Big Bang Fair’ in Sutton and Newham. These are events catering mainly for school children on subject of science and technology. It was the usual set up for the project for events like these; an informational stand with VR headsets. The team met several hundred children on each day attended, ranging from young primary to older secondary students. Although sometimes there were large queues if classes came over all together, this meant that the children could learn all about toads whilst they waited. The project volunteer, Xavier (picture; below left), was a big help on all the days! Additionally, a number of organizational and school contacts were made on these days who have subsequently booked the team for workshops or events.
