VR @ Ferry Lane Estate Eco-Day

In June 2019 the London T.O.A.D team attended Ferry Lane Estate’s Eco-Day in Haringey, alongside RSPB and other environmental charities. This is an annual event which aims to encourage the residents to think about wildlife around the estate. The estate is doing great things already, having won an award in 2016 for greenspace. Wildlife is present here with residents reporting often seeing grass snakes along the nearby canal. Our team were pleased to discover that the Friends Of group are now keen to put in a pond (subject to permissions). It was beautiful weather and the event was well attended with lots of people experiencing life as a toad on our virtual reality (pictures; below).
