Doune Community Woodland is managed by the Doune Community Woodland Group and includes a network of accessible paths, making the woodland a fantastic place for recreational and educational activities with groups from schools, nurseries and youth groups. Many community events also run throughout the year.
The large overgrown pond was restored by Froglife in early 2020 to create open freshwater for people and wildlife alike – whilst enhancements to the nearby boardwalk make access to the pond much easier for local visitors.
