Grangemouth Golf Course is situated to the east of Falkirk. The course has many natural and naturalised elements, it is bounded with woodland edge habitats and broad areas of rank grass and tall vegetation break up the short sward fairways.
Ponds on site were reported to consistently dry up in spring thus not being ideal for amphibian breeding. A plan was put in motion to create two new freshwater ponds and five surrounding scrapes, enhancing habitat availability across the site.
