Kinneil Estate, situated in Bo’ness, forms part of the Frontier of the Roman Empire UNESCO World Heritage Site including remnants of the Antonine Wall. The estate is a mix of historic parkland, coniferous woodland and grassland with two existing ponds.
Froglife created additional ponds on site which are more suitable for amphibians species in January 2020. Wildflower grassland areas were created to enhance habitat connectivity for wildlife using the local area. Look out for lots of volunteer opportunities too as we add native seed to areas and create hibernacula!
