The Lade in Falkirk was a heavily overgrown freshwater habitat that has benefited from works carried out just before Christmas 2019. A series of scrapes suitable for amphibians have been created – increasing the breeding habitat amphibians and other associated amphibians have available in the area. These scrapes now connect to nearby habitat at Finlay Russell Park and Crownest Park.
