John Bramston Primary School received a full dose of T.O.A.D Tails from the London T.O.A.D team, but with one subtle difference! The 60 participating Year 5 students received the pandemic home version of the programme, which was consolidated with an in person session from the team. By the time the team reached the school for the outdoor learning session, the students were already experts in the amphibians and reptiles that we share London with! The classes split into groups and tackled one species each, discussing their habitats, identifying features and common threats. They then presented this to the class. Very important discussions were had regarding how students felt about snakes in the UK, finishing with the consensus that they liked them – which was good news to Froglife!
