In Spring, toads are returning to ponds to breed and we see toadspawn and toad tadpoles. The spring panel of the toad tapestry started at Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park’s ‘Frog Day’ event, alongside the virtual reality experience and other toad-related activities (picture; below right). Visitors took inspiration from the park and greater surroundings of Greenwich to make lots of new materials for the panel. Another session was held at the ArtFix Cafe in Greenwich giving local people further chance to contribute (picture; below left).
