In February, April and August of 2019, the London T.O.A.D team ran Swimming with T.O.A.Ds sessions with holiday groups at Mile End Leisure Centre in Tower Hamlets. The children learnt all about toad ecology – including their pond predators in the grass snake game (photo; below centre), and about gathering insect food in the relay game (photo; below right). Our specially made lilypad, tadpole and toad floats and floating sandbag reeds helped bring the pond simulation to life.
