In August 2019 the London T.O.A.D team held a celebratory event for the community of Lesnes Abbey, Bexley. The day aimed to showcase the habitat works Froglife had completed at the site earlier in the year and provide fun and informative activities for the public to engage with. There was lots of interest from the public, with a crowd gathered before the event had even begun! Nearly 400 people enjoyed the virtual reality, pond doctor tent, crafts and a dress-up wall. As well as identification talks, and wildlife photography workshops by Charlie Page. One family told us afterwards they created their own pond at home as a result of the event.
